Major areas of emphasis include 1) regulation and integration in cardiovascular, renal, endocrine, autonomic, water and electrolytes, temperature regulation, and ingestion physiology; 2) developmental physiology, including molecular and cellular mechanisms of morphogenesis, as well as overall fetal and neonatal development and differentiation; and 3) comparative physiology.
